Cats Protection’s Director of Veterinary Services, Maggie Roberts, is quoted in an article about toxoplasmosis.
She says that cats are infectious for only about 10 days in their whole life and, after that, they are resistant.
She advises wearing gloves when cleaning a litter tray and washing hands thoroughly afterwards.
